The Sinai Desert

Lastly, the desert is a time to find yourself in the depths of the quiet. The beauty of the stars at night covering you in a blanket to mesmerizing to turn away from. Realizing that we are so truly alike while celebrating our differences. I learned that it is ok to be awestruck and not have words...

 The Nile

The many friendships and connections of Regina and Professor Rabbia from their lifetime of traveling throughout the Egypt made it possible to travel more like guests of local peoples than tourists. And so learn directly and genuinely much about the culture and society at the grassroots.

Unique Experiences:

Activities like camping in the desert, camel treks, and interactions with Bedouin families offer rare and memorable experiences. Through Dr. Rabia’s and Regina’s deep friendships with the Bedouin, we have unique opportunities not found in any other travel program. For many, this is an opportunity to experience an ancient way of life that is swiftly disappearing.

The outer journey within Egypt is nothing short of spectacular. The simultaneous inner journey is often as impressive. “The most incredible trip I have ever been onFr. Phil, Catholic priest and author

What do Past Travelers say about this journey

“What lingers for me is the peace and harmony that I experienced in the group.  My most spiritual moment was on Mt Sinai, alone on the camel in the silent starry black night, feeling at peace as one with the universe.  Nature is my church! I was also amazed to experience the history of religion from ancient times. I loved the pilgrimage!  It is still a highlight, probably the top 2 of all my travels! So, if the stars aligned, I’d go again!” 2023 – Lin, world traveler

“I appreciated the weaving of Egyptian mythology with roots of Christianity. I am in awe of the historical ingenuity and advancements of the Egyptian people. The entire trip was filled with moments of grace, compassion, and wisdom.” 2023 – Teresa

“The pilgrimage to Egypt with Regina and Dr. Rabia, their Egyptology trained guides, Bedouin support team including camels, and inspiring fellow travelers is a gem-like adventure memory of a lifetime. It is difficult to choose any one aspect to praise, like the futility of choosing one facet of a diamond over another.” 2018 – Joanna S.

“Egypt is so spectacular, and it is amazing to get to see all the wonders with you and Rabia – it’s like you guys have the secret key to open every door and create the most magical experiences for everyone.” 2017 – Christina

“I felt so alive in the desert”- “Best trip I have ever taken – I would highly recommend it”- “It will linger within you long after you have returned.” “I am so glad I made the first step just to decide to come”

“Feeling and experiencing the “peace that passes all understanding,” while in the awesome Sinai Desert, assured me that there is a Creator who loves me and who knows me.  That experience was so profound; it will remain with me the rest of my life.”

“True alchemy by making a common journey through Egypt unique and special.”
